Joy personified!

Joy personified!
Watching the wonder, joy, and innocence of the Maiden come back to life in the beauties journeying with me in Beauty Potion is one of the most *hopeful* things I’ve seen in all the years of doing the deep healing work of archetypal Feminine embodiment that I do with women.
We are only a week in, and already the vital reclamation of our inner teenagers (the time when many of us experienced a profound Beauty Wound just as we were growing into our own unique version of our womanly beauty… ouch ) is unfolding.
That word ‘hopeful’ is the Maiden in me speaking too.
I look back at the unexpectedly challenging experience of bringing Beauty Potion to the world, due in part to the scepticism* (other women’s, the world’s, and no doubt, consciously or otherwise, mine too) around creating healing, spiritual, soulful work through the portal of our physical appearance… I mean, haven’t we all got better, more important, more serious, more spiritual things to do than focus on beauty?… and I’m beginning to see how each of the 7 Mythic Beauty Archetypes were needed for me to keep doing what was needed to get to this point.
And just as I think I couldn’t be any more humbled by and grateful for the archetypes, they blow me open and pull me down on my knees all over again.
I see now that the Maiden was vital for me to (re-)kindle that spark of dreamy wonder and possibility - Ooooo, beauty! Yes! I don’t know how… but YES! - that arose in me when the work of Beauty Potion was placed on my heart all those moons ago.
Her openness, tenderness, and innocence aren’t always easy to feel - in fact, I felt more excruciatingly vulnerable than I remember feeling in a very long time before and after the All The Everything episode on Beauty (linked below) and the first circle of Beauty Potion - but I’ll take that in order to reclaim her pure magic of joy, hope and wonder.
So to Snow White, Persephone, Alice in Wonderland, the tender rose buds of spring, certain students (you know who are are), my daughter, and my own teenage self, who are my beloved muses, teachers, and guides for the Maiden… I say thank you, thank you, thank you! ♥️
*One of my human teachers admitted to me last week that he thought the work of Beauty Potion sounded “new age” (yikes!) when I first shared it with him months ago, until he looked deeper and saw beneath the seemingly shallow surface of beauty, and down into its deep ancient roots.
Beauty Potion is certainly doing a number on my ego.
